EB Night Prowler Raffle!

Doug Horton Checking In

HS team rider Doug Horton sent in an update of what he's been staying busy with.

I've basically been living in Brooklyn for a little over two months now, interning for a film production company called Offhollywood New York, and it's been going real good. No telling if there will be a job waiting for me, but I'm trying. For money I've just been freelancing a lot including cranking out ESPN edits like crazy, from bike checks, to random "scene edits" and what not.

In the works, just continuing to freelance for ESPN, plans to release an HS edit with the clips I have of me, and hopefully by the spring I'll be freelancing steadily in the film world and making good money and can therefore travel a lot more, and take on more bmx projects that I miss!

Our latest HS team rider Troy Merkle sent in an update about what he's been up to lately. Here's what Troy had to say.

Lately, I've been trying to keep busy. I just wrapped up filming for an upcoming Perspectives BMX video which should be out fairly soon. I also adopted a dog! She is a 3 year old greyhound that was rescued from a dog racing track. We named her Sombra. Other than that I am just trying to survive the Winter and possibly find a way to make it out to California so I can get some quality time in on my bike.

EB La Revolution Tour Video!

Eastern Bikes sent Eric Holley, Josh Perry, team manager Leigh Ramsdell, and HS team rider Karl Poynter to France and Spain for a tour. The trip was documented and Eastern Bikes released a video that was originally featured in the latest issue of a french magazine called Soul. Now the video is available to view online.

Alan Young Checking In

We just got HS team rider Alan Young on a new frame and he sent over a photo of his new ride along with some info on what he's been up to lately.

After being off my bike for a month, I have been real excited to get back to riding. The past few days I have been riding at my new indoor spot for the winter. This spot is full of original graffiti from local artists, which makes for a real creative riding enviroment. The enthusiasm of getting back on my bike and inspirational surroundings has pushed my riding in a real positive direction. I am eager to see what will come out of these next few months. Stay on the lookout for more news and info about me and my riding.
