HS BlackJack Tee!

Here it is. The long awaited BlackJack Tee. As many of you know, we have a shop cat named BlackJack. We found him at a skatepark several years ago. Over time BlackJack has made a ton of fans. So it only made sense to give him his own signature shirt. Stop in the shop and pick one up or purchase one on our online store

*Keep in mind that by purchasing one of these tees is helping keep BlackJack eating the best cat food you can buy.

Available in white and yellow with black print.

Eastern Trip/Day 8

Here is the last "photo a day" update from my Eastern trip. This photo is a shot from my window seat on my flight back home.

My first Eastern trip went well and was a lot of fun. It was a good time riding, filming, and hanging out with everyone. I hope you enjoyed my daily updates from my trip. I'll be posting a full blog post with different photos from the trip over on the Eastern site soon. I'll keep you posted o when that goes up. Thanks for following along with me.

Eastern Trip/Day 7

Today we rode one of my favorite spots of the trip called the "Twin Towers" in Greenville, SC. This spot was a foundation filled with ledges, pole jams, and much more made by skaters and BMX riders. There were a few puddles scattered about when we arrived, but a push broom and the sun took care of that. A long day of riding "Twin Towers" and downtown, along with a small session at a local indoor park called "No Name" made a good way to end the last full day of the trip. Adam Banton, HS team rider Zach Rogers, and myself all were able to get things done, which made for a productive and fun time to say the least. Stay tuned for one last photo to end the Eastern trip updates.

Eastern Trip/Day 6

Day 6 was filled with a ton of riding even with us staying busy avoiding the rain drops. We rode UNC in Charlotte and the downtown area. This photo is of myself clocking in a clip with the man behind the Eastern video, Mike "The Mangler" McQueen.

Eastern Trip/Day 5

Day 5 was one of the best days yet due to us meeting up with Eastern and HS team rider Zach Rogers. Now Zach will be with us for the rest of the trip to hang out, ride, and give us a tour of the best spots around the Charlotte and Winston-Salem area.

So today we headed to downtown Winston-Salem to hit up a series of spots along with some of the local riders. I ended up hurting my ankle and wasn't able to get much done for filming. I'm hoping it gets well fast. Only time will tell. More to come for day 6.

The photo shown is of HS team rider Zach Rogers doing a foot-jam at the first spot we rode.

Eastern Trip/Day 4

For day 4 we decided to ride NC State College in Raleigh, NC. A lot of riding and filming went down all while enjoying the sunny weather. During our session we randomly stumbled on other local BMX riders, which was really cool and eventually led to us rollin' with a big crew of riders around the college campus. The more we rode the more clips kept compiling for the Eastern video. The progress is looking good.

Pictured here is our bikes locked up outside from where we were having lunch.

Eastern Trip/Day 3

For the first part of day 3 we decided to continue our session we had at the special spot from day 2. So, we ended up not riding a ton of places, which explains why there's a photo of a restaurant for the day 3 update. This was a really nice Tai restaurant that specialized in vegetarian food. It was a good way to end day 3 after a long day of riding.

Eastern Trip/Day 2

This photo is of Adam Banton and I on our first official riding day of the Eastern trip. Today was a lot fun due to us riding a special spot that consisted of concrete, transitions, toys, sub boxes, and plenty more. I was able to film my first clips for the Eastern video and I must say it feels good. You'll have to wait for when the video drops to see everything that went down here. We plan to ride this spot again tomorrow. More to come.

Eastern Trip/Day 1

For the next week I'll be teaming up with good friend Adam Banton to film for the upcoming Eastern video. We'll be riding our bikes in Raleigh and Charlotte, NC and Greenville, SC while Leigh Ramsdell and Micheal McQueen step in to document what goes down. With that being said, stay tuned for a photo and a brief description of what we're up to on each day of the trip.

Shown in this photo is Eastern Bike's rider Adam Banton and team manager Leigh Ramsdell at the Eastern office. Not a lot of riding happened today due to the rain, but we did do a lot of eating at an all vegetarian Asian restaurant and a local mexican spot. The majority of today was hanging out at the office checking out some of Eastern's upcoming products. Look for update #2 tomorrow.
